What I Wore Wednesday: Versace for HM

Last Thursday I was lucky enough to win a Twitter competition and skip the queue for the unveiling of the new Versace for H and M collection! (ed note: I know it is not H and M, but I can't get an ampersand to work for some reason!) I got to go in early and shop before anyone else hit the store. The same rules still applied: I could only shop for 10 minutes and only one of each item.

I went in with only two items in mind and came out with five items from the Versace collection. I had planned a fashion show for y'all but well life took over so lucky for me Polyvore stepped in! So here is how I *would* have worn them if I actually got chance!

I'm still unsure about a few items and have until tomorrow to return them so please be honest about what you think! I'm also keen to hear alternate styling options, too!

Versace Geometric Stud Skirt

Black 3/4 sleeve top- H and M
Black Peep Toe Heels- Stuart Weitzman (Don't actually own but have similar pair)
High stylized bun
Black Ice Manicure- 15 Royal Terrace (I'm loving how the micro glitter breaks up the black!)

Versace Red Dress

I've no idea how to really wear the leggings other than some sort of plain black top; any ideas? Did you shop the new Versace collection?

  10. Such cute stuff, LOVE that red dress. Only things I'd style a bit differently would be a splash of color for the first outfit. Maybe nails, but maybe just makeup or a gold necklace would be enough.
Those leggings are adorable. I bet they would look super cute with boots and a long black sweater. Congrats on your great finds!

  15. Wow! What a collection. I'm not sure about the black fur vest, but otherwise love everything else. You could wear the leggings with a block colour wrap dress or tunic & heels? Whether that be black or pick out one of the colours from the leggings perhaps??

  16. Oh wow! I'm wearing H&M on my post today but unfortunately it is not of the Versace variety! I can't believe your haul - you lucky girl! I absolutely love it all but I think my favourite has to be that skirt. I would wear that to death. I think I would play it safe with the leggings and wear something skimming and black but man they are amazeballs! Has Soph4Soph seen them? She would love them :-)

  18. These look great. I love the dress. I'm not sure about the leggings, but think with a plain top would be best. x

  21. I like everything that you got! I really love the fur vest. I would probably wear the leggings with a long white button up blouse belted. You could even wear the vest with them!

  27. I love the white shirt idea! Blazer sounds good but I'm very busty so blazers tend to not work no matter what the cut :(

  28. Oh I love H&M! I fell in love when they opened the first store in Georgetown when I lived in DC and couldn't live without them. They have amazing maternity clothes, too :)

  29. Look forward to seeing your link! The leggings are kind of swimsuit like material if that makes sense so I'm having issues figuring what to pair them with other than jersey.

  31. I know right? I looked online before I went in and was shocked by how much I loved in person and even more actually ON me. There was another dress I loved but it had a low back and there is no way I can go braless :)

  32. The back of the vest is open so it doesn't bulk me out and make me look like a Yeti (if that makes sense!)

  33. There is a chance it could be yours! I need to try it on again firs though :)
