What I Wore: Speaking Engagement

I had planned on being blacked out today to protest SOPA/PIPA but since it appears to be shelved and I can't get the freaking HTML to work on my page I am not. I have added a ribbon though in solidarity.


I was asked to speak about blogging as part of Glasgow University Media Week earlier today and wanted to wear something casual put professional. I'm a huge fan of sweater dresses and I hadn't worn this one in a while so I was glad to see it still fits!

Don't ask what is going on with my leg because I have no idea but NBH didn't have the patience for more than one take (can you blame him?). Also what is your thoughts on my penguin friend? It was acquired as a holiday decoration but since it is still cold out I've kept our fine feather friend out on the porch. Time to put her away or should she stay?

    I absolutely love that sweater dress on you. I have a very similar one in fact. I got the free BarryM nail varnish yesterday but I haven't tried it yet - can't wait though it looks sparkletastic!

    love the cozy sweater dress.  i wish our weather didn't fluctuate so much here in CA.  it seems to start off cool enough to wear a sweater dress but then by end of day it's like summer weather!!!

    I say that as long as the weather is cold, the penguin can stay :)

    I love sweater dresses but it's difficult to find one that doesn't cling to your middle...I like the A-line on this one :)

    Do it! As long as your top covers your butt it is okay in my book! I wear leggings like I would tights.

    LOL I would have never noticed your penguin friend if you wouldnt have pointed him out. I think you should keep him out..I told my hubby how you called your hubby Not so blonde husband and how it made me want to have a cool name for him(my hubby) like "The Mexican" lol but I'm afraid it might offend people..Anyhow I really wanted to share that with you..Cute dress!
