What I Wore Wednesday: What Should I Wear?

So here's the craic, I'm sick. I caught Blondie Boy's crud and my American immune system doesn't handle European bugs that great so it's resulted in me being on antibiotics and well basically looking like a hot mess. So there is no what I wore this week because I've not left my bed--and my hair would scare you.

What I do need is y'all's help. This Saturday is Cybher and I'm crazy honoured to be speaking.  The thing is I don't know what I'm going to wear; I got two dresses but I'm just not that sure about them. I know I want to wear a skull bracelet I bought in Mallorca but that is it and I kinda need a bit more coverage.

So be my stylist---please! What would you pair this bracelet with for my speaking engagement?

I have the hot pink rope and purple skullie (I think, I'm too tired to go dig it out of my suitcase--don't judge me for not unpacking) by Amima. I found it in a wee jewellery shop in Palma and it turns out Amima are a Mallorcan jewellery company so how cool is that? It also seems I've made a bit of a trend of buying skull accessories while on holiday so we'll have to see if I can keep it up!

So what would you pair this bracelet with? Bonus points for links!

  1. If you are still not feeling well, I might suggest a soft color, like a peach or a light pink, so you won't feel overwhelmed by the color. You won't need as much makeup either. Hope you feel better soon, by the way!

  12. I'd pair it with something girly. Maybe a little sundress and wedges.  Or a pair of skinnies and a top in a contrasting color so that the bracelet will really pop against it....

    I hop you feel better!

  13. I would say wear something simple to make the bracelet stand out, maybe all one color- all black, simple earrings and shoes, so the bracelet pops.  have an awesome time!

  14. Wear something simple; solid colors. Will help the bracelet stand out and will also look better in pictures than something that is busier. Hopefully you'll get some good press shots!

  15. The badge is on my party page.  Hope you feel better soon!  I'd pair it with a t and jeans - but I always wear a t and jeans so that's probably boring :S

  16. sorry to hear you're under the weather.  i hope by the time you read this you're already feeling better!
i would keep the outfit chic & simple to really showcase the bracelet.  perhaps jeans, a white v neck tee, and a blazer.  and perhaps some other bracelets to go with the skullie one too, you know, to really draw the eye to your wrist.
    hope that helps!
