Reasons I love my Husband

I've been a bad, bad blogger. I have a couple of draft posts that I just haven't gotten around to finishing, but I promise to try and get them done and update this more regularly. I'm going to start with an easy one!

I love my husband (duh) and now that we have Blondie Boy there are things he does that reminds me why I love him so much. So here are some reasons why I love NotBlondeHusband, the Blondie Boy edition:

-He bought Blondie Boy "And Tango Makes Three" of his own free-will with no prompting from me

-He is fine with Blondie Boy having pink pacifiers, pink shirts and wearing BabyLegs

-He was totally fine with using cloth diapers and researched them for us

-I'm not the only one who gives Blondie Boy "pants-for-hair."

1) I've been keeping a secret. I've had a bit of a hair disaster. 3 box colors, a trip to the salon and silver shampoo later and I'm still not happy. Repeat after me: Blondes can't do boxes.

2) I'm somewhat superstitious in that I believe I can "jinx" myself out of things.

3) I don't currently own a bra that fits. I went to try and buy a cheapish one, but it had 4 hooks and I couldn't get them hooked and figured if it was that much hassle to try it on, it wasn't worth it and I'd rather put up with boob spillage.

4) I have delicious hands....seriously, ask Blondie Boy he loves them.

5) If I'm at home, 99.9% of the time I don't have pants on. I don't like them.

6) I have two tattoos and have had a total of 7 piercings.

7) I have a minor obsession with mascara.

8) I've seen Ben Folds in concert more than any other artist.

9) I love Louie Spence.

10) The only soap opera I watch is a bad Aussie one called "Neighbours."

Five things I don't like (I going to choose foods):

1) Oranges or anything orange flavoured

2) Black Currant flavoured anything (why can't the UK have grape stuff?)

3) Parsley

4) Coriander/Cilantro (I'm allergic and it's gross)

5) Jalapeños

Happy 30th!

Today is NotBlondeHusband's 30th birthday!

He is my baby daddy, husband and best friend and I love him more than anything. He not only puts up with my crazy, but he doesn't mind and is the most amazing Daddy to the Blondie Boy.

We don't need no water!

Blondie Boy *loves* taking baths and we have some pretty cute videos of him doing so, but I'm not about to put naked videos of my son on the internet. I may be blonde, but I'm not dumb.

Fortunately for y'all, he also apparently enjoys baths when there is no water--who knew!

Wow/Wordless Wednesday

I realize this isn't completely wordless, but while the pictures speak for themselves, they needed some introduction.

My extremely crafty friend Amanda offered to make Blondie Boy a bumper after she heard about all my bumper drama (I ordered one only to be told it was sold out) if I found some fabric I liked.

I lucked out and found some super cute fabric from a seller on Etsy and had it sent to Amanda to work her magic. The bumper arrived today and wow, just wow, I am amazed. I knew she was talented, but the detailing and finishing is just amazing! She threw in a bunch of surprises for Blondie Boy, including a taggie blanket, blocks, shoes, a pillow and a new penguin friend for his ever growing penguin army :)

3 months

Age - three months

Weight - He last got weighed 3 weeks ago and was 11lbs 11oz

Height - 26 inches (ish)

Sleeping habit - He is starting to sleep from 1am-6/7am and skip the middle of the night feed.

Eating habits - Eating 7oz roughly 5 times a day!

Favorite activity - Smiling, reading, kicking, talking, playing with froggie & eating his hands.

Milestones - 3 month vaccines

Firsts - Time in a house that wasn't family. We went to my friend Deb's house for an Easter lunch last Friday and he was extremely well behaved and got to see other kids (10 months, 16 months & 3 years)
